Introduction
Our core competence is focused on the Swiss real estate sector. We take you as a customer and therefore your rights and your need for data truthfulness and data security seriously. For this reason, we comply with the requirements of the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (rexRSG), which came into force on September 1, 2023.

Data protection information
REPEX Estate AG, in its capacity as data controller, informs its users that their personal data will be processed, in particular

– personal data that you provide to us when registering on the website or in the context of initiating / processing a contractual relationship, such as e-mail address, first name, surname, title, address, telephone number;
– personal data transmitted by your Internet browser each time you access the website and stored in log files, also known as server log files. This data includes: IP address (Internet Protocol address) of the accessing computer; as well as other non-personal data such as name of the accessed page; date and time of access; referred URL from which the user accesses the page; number of data transferred; status message for successful access; session ID number.

Purpose of the processing
REPEX Estate AG, as the controller, processes personal data for the following purposes:
– Fulfillment of user requests (e.g. management of contact requests, management of contact orders for regular electronic newsletters with promotional information about real estate offers from REPEX Estate AG);
– To process any contractual relationship with the user;
– to enable the registration of users on the website
– technical administration of the Website and its operational functions, including the resolution of technical problems, statistical analysis, testing and research
– to prevent fraudulent activity or abuse on or in connection with the Website
– to comply with the requirements of applicable laws, to protect the safety of any individual and the rights and property of REPEX Estate AG and to prevent fraud or security or technical problems.

Type of provision of personal data and the consequences of refusal
The provision of personal data by the user is voluntary. You are free to decide whether to provide personal data to REPEX Estate AG. If the processing of the data is based on your consent, you can revoke this consent at any time. If you withdraw your consent, you may no longer be able to use the website and the services of REPEX Estate AG to their full extent. By providing your personal data, you consent to the processing, storage and use of your data.

Access to data
The personal data is processed by REPEX Estate AG, in particular by
– Employees and consultants who are authorized to manage the website and provide the associated services;
– third-party companies (e.g. IT service providers, hosting providers, etc.) to which REPEX Estate AG has outsourced services with processing operations as part of order processing.

Forwarding of data
We transfer your data to our processors for the purpose of data processing. On request, we will be happy to send you the current list of our data processors.
In addition, your data will only be passed on to third parties for the following purposes:
– To fulfill or process our contractual rights or obligations in connection with our contractual relationship, in particular the data will be passed on to your contractual partners, notaries and land registries.
– On the basis of a legal basis or official order.
– To safeguard the overriding legitimate interests of REPEX Estate AG (e.g. to external consultants, auditors and the like).

By providing your data, you also give us permission to share the data with group companies of REPEX Estate AG for marketing purposes (newsletters, product and service offers). You can object to this use at any time, either by notifying us or the group company from which you are being contacted or, in the case of e-mails, by unsubscribing from the distribution list via the corresponding unsubscribe link.
The servers used by REPEX Estate AG are located within Switzerland/European Union.

Storage of data
REPEX Estate AG stores personal data for the time required to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected and further processed. We reserve the right to retain data for a longer period if there is a legal basis for doing so, namely in the case of a legally prescribed retention period (e.g. retention of accounting documents), if REPEX Estate AG has an overriding interest or after obtaining your consent.

Use of cookies
REPEX Estate AG uses so-called cookies to improve the surfing experience on the website. Cookies are small text files, usually consisting of letters and numbers, which are stored by the user’s web browser on their PC and contain pseudo-anonymized data. Social media plug-ins
This website uses social media plug-ins offered by the most important social networks (e.g. Facebook and Twitter). When visiting the website, the browsing data can be transmitted directly to the respective social networks, even without direct user interaction. Users acknowledge and agree that the operation of social network plug-ins is managed directly by the company offering the plug-in in question. When users use the plug-ins via the website (e.g. log in with their access data to a social network or link their accounts), they click on the respective button (such as “Like” or “Share” on Facebook) and connect to the server of this social network, which then sends the content of the plug-in directly to the user’s browser.
REPEX Estate AG may therefore receive data relating to users in accordance with the terms of use and privacy policy of the respective social network and may add data relating to users’ personal data that has already been collected via its own services. If the user decides to share information with the social networks, he also shares the data with REPEX Estate AG, for example about his preferences. To prevent the social networks from collecting the user’s personal information, please check the relevant terms and conditions on the social network’s website.

Data security
REPEX Estate AG has implemented the organizational and technical security measures required by law to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your personal data. Our employees are regularly trained in data protection requirements and in our contracts with contract processors we ensure that personal data is treated confidentially and processed using at least equivalent organizational and technical security measures.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Internet transmissions are not secure and the loss or misuse of data can never be completely ruled out. As soon as we receive the transmitted information, we secure it in our systems in accordance with the security measures described above.

Your rights
You have a right to information about the processing of your personal data (e.g. the origin of this data, the purpose of processing, the modalities of data processing).
If the processing is based on your consent, you are entitled to withdraw this consent at any time.
Subject to the proviso that there is no statutory retention period or our overriding legitimate interests, you can request the deletion of your personal data at any time.
